Friday, April 23, 2010
To share in the spirit of service, the youths observed that there were other under-privilege children and youths, some who have not known their parents and those abandoned. Therefore the group visited two centres in Akwa Ibom State that works with children and youths. The centers were:
1.  Turai Yar’Adua Child Reformation Centre, and
2.  Special Children Center.

At the centres, we took time to share and communicate on issues that bother on attitudinal change and work with the children and youths to make their environment clean for healthy living.

In other to ensure greener environment, the youths willingly embarked on massive tree-planting exercise as a measure to safe guarding the environment against the impact of climate change. Trees safe the environment and humans from direct heat by absorbing the ultra-violet ray from the sun; and gives oxygen, which is good for the body and the environment.
